Few days ago Leica and Moncler has unveiled the limited edition camera called Leica X Edition Moncler. Basically it’s the regular Leica X model, but with a special design that Leica design in Moncler/French colours. Blue, white, and red color bands spanning across the camera that the maker says is in honor of Moncler’s French origins. The only small quantity of camera are available — so limited edition. If you like Leica and Moncler, why not to take this camera? Sorry for our Mondrian (aka YSL) cover. We just thought it’s a good idea, guys!
The camera itself is the same as the regular production model, which features a 16.5-megapixel APS-C format CMOS sensor and a Leica Summilux 23mm f/1.7 ASPH lens. Only 1500 units will be made and sold across the globe in Leica’s stores and boutiques and Moncler stores. Such a great collaboration!
EXPERIENCE
Fabien Baron, the editorial director of Interview Magazine, was recruited by Moncler President Remo Ruffini to test the company’s latest product in Greenland. He was charged with using a special Moncler edition of the brand new Leica X 113 camera to shoot a portfolio of images that will go on show during this week’s Frieze Art Fair in London. Here are the pictures.
