As I travel a lot this advices are gonna be useful for you, guys. There are always two or more ways for travellers about what to bring: laptop or tablet, just smartphones or extra camera, earphones or headphones? I’ll share with you what I think about that and show you my gadgets I travel with. Let’s begin.
Here we go. This is my essential techno-kit I take.
Laptop
Mostly Mac, but as the second best you can always take something like Sony Vaio Fit 11 or 13, more is worse, or if you travel for business – Lenovo X1 Carbon, both has wonderful high-resolution touch displays and new Windows 8 inside (which I hate, but you may prefer). Few reasons to choose MacBook Pro with Retina or MacBook Air: great battery, great Apple’s apps for the photo, music, mail and video, don’t forget about iWork pack — Keynote, Pages and — yes! — boring Numbers – use it as long as you will be charged 10$ per each and look at your friends who choose Windows — their F__king Office 360 cost so much more.
Smartphone
iPhone 5S – if you’re normal sexy guy, Nokia Lumia 1020 or 1520 (Yes, Microsoft, this is Nokia as long as it has quality – then call it Microsoft Mobile or whatever) with best travel maps HERE and other Nokia services like MixRadio and Nokia Camera) – if you’re addicted to adventures and photography, or Vertu Constellation (V) — if you’re most sexy guy with few millions on the bank account, don’t go for second best, I beg, leather/stainless steel body is gonna look hot in hands.
Camera
Yes, I take one, even with my Nokia Lumia 1020, cuz I’m addicted to this series NEX – had three or four and gonna have next one…. or? Sony? What did you launch recently? I don’t understand. Anyway.Choose Sony NEX (or any other senza-mirror (love to use italian) mezzo-professional (again) camera), Leica (look above what I said about Vertu) or something from Canon — are you professional photographer?
Headphones
Ok, man, if you don’t like to f_ck your ears with something like my favourite Monster Turbine Pro Gold or Copper choose this one — hot and just pretty harman/kardon SOHO – leather (look above again for Vertu) and stainless steel for the best design, and great compact body which fits in flat case. I’ve got brown, but you’re able to choose between two more: white and black. Three of them are nice, but brown………HOT! And don’t forget to bring the speaker — to make your friends dance with you. This Monster Superstar is incredibly loud and powerful.
EXTRAS
Battery Pack (not the one your ex-girlfriends or boyfriend used to have) — Monster PowerCard is one of the best option. Why? Cuz it’s compact (even if the capaty is poor — just 1500 mAh) or another option is something like my Panasonic. Great quality and pure design.
Chargers – don’t forget adapters. If you travel to some ex-british asian countries, always-different-and-wannabe-better-to-any-others USA or United Kingdom…. bring universal travel adapter or buy the special one for your Apple’s or whatever’s gadget. Remember, your mother won’t be happy of not hearing from you…. Charge it up!
CASES
Plenty of space to create, imagine and spend. Speaking about me that’s gonna be hand-made BaggageClaimz by boyman made from «don’t have to explain» for my MacBook Pro 13 with Retina (same as for MacBook Air 13), Ralph Lauren case for iPhone 5S (Nokia CameraGrip for Nokia Lumia 1020 and leather case for Vertu), standard cases for earphones Monster and harman/cardon.
Hope you enjoyed my first TRAVEL/essentials. Next time I’ll share with you my kinda fashion TRAVEL/essential. Keep waiting!
Agreed. Just added a Lenovo as WordPress App on my iPad was driving me mad while traveling.
