Icebreaker! Pool party at the temperature below zero.

Sometimes the wish to swim is stronger then freeze outside. Then you just go and swim. Not actually you, but Russians do. So, this weekend I went for a short winter swimming experience by invitation of Philips Russia. Pictures and more text are following.Screen Shot 2013-12-08 at 13.58.48

The swimming pool Chaika is open space and working all time: from early string will late autumn… And all winter! 24/365! And people swim. Philips and O’neil decided to make an event to support their new head-phones collaboration on 6 December in Moscow. I brought some friends with me and we had a real fun!

Swimming Pool Chaika

Lonely Planet Review: Boasting eight lanes and heated to a pleasant 29°C, this 50m open-air pool is an ideal place for swimming laps year-round. It is attached to a training room, so the price of admission also allows access to cardiovascular equipment and weights on site. Kids under 16 are only welcome at designated times, so phone before bringing the little ones along.

Street Turchaninov per 1/3. Open 07:00 – 22:45, Sun 08:00 – 20:45

And how those beautiful head-phones look like. The main concept is STRONG, flexible headband and powerful drivers inside. Perfect for sportsmen and active youths.
