Sometimes the wish to swim is stronger then freeze outside. Then you just go and swim. Not actually you, but Russians do. So, this weekend I went for a short winter swimming experience by invitation of Philips Russia. Pictures and more text are following.
The swimming pool Chaika is open space and working all time: from early string will late autumn… And all winter! 24/365! And people swim. Philips and O’neil decided to make an event to support their new head-phones collaboration on 6 December in Moscow. I brought some friends with me and we had a real fun!
The pool was opened in 1957. It’s located in the heart of Moscow, in its historical and cultural centre, near street Ostozhenka.
